This page says what personal information Seento handles, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the waiting list on this website and the Seento app.

Who we are

Seento is made by FCA Design Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 08200566. FCA Design Ltd decides how the information described here is used, which makes it the "data controller".

The waiting list

If you join the waiting list we collect two things: your email address, and the kind of work you do.

We use them to tell you when Seento is ready and to understand who is interested in it. We do this with your consent, which you give by joining. You can withdraw it at any time.

• Your details are kept in a spreadsheet in our Google Workspace account. Google stores it for us and may hold it on computers outside the UK, under its standard data protection terms.
• We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone else.
• We keep them only while the waiting list is running. When it closes, or when you ask, we delete them.

The Seento app

• Your reports, photos and notes are kept on your own phone, in your browser's storage. They are not sent to us and we cannot see them.
• When you use the Speak button, your phone or browser's own speech service turns your voice into text. That service is usually run by Google or Apple, and your voice goes to it, not to us.
• The app has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking.

This website

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which handles technical information such as your IP address in order to send you the pages.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, or to leave the waiting list, reply to any email from us or write to us at the address below.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
